XPLOR Another Zumo Question

	Another Zumo Question
Vance Joined: Feb 28, 2007 Location: Helena, AL	I have searched several places and not been able to answer this question. So if it is here somewhere forgive me. I am contemplating an upgrade from a Garmin V to the Zumo 550 (I know..I know a quantum leap!) and wondering does anyone know if the power cables will interchange? I have multiple bikes and would like to be able to move the unit from bike to bike as I do now and hoping I don't have to buy new power cables for each bike. Not here, so much, but over on ADVRider there have been a ton recently. In any case, I would say just pick up the bits you need for hard-wiring a plug to each vehicle you plan to use. I got a kit for a power/data plug for my Garmin (an ancient SPIII) from pfranc.com. Check it out, you pledge to pay, and then paypal the money after you get the plugs. Kinda cool. They offer an extra cable (one comes in the kit) but it is about 30 bucks. I can't tell from the photo of the cable itself for sure but it appears to have the same plug end as the cable for the V. That would be nice. Hopefully someone has looked at them in person and will know if they are the same..... --------------------------------- Gear Up..... And Ride Safe To Ride Far! I too have disviered they are not interchangeable. Oh well..I guess Ireally didn't expect them to be. I am looking forwad to the Zumo however.
