I just got an R series repair/maintenance DVD on eBay for $15.99 + plus modest shipping from a seller (DEVOYM) in Canada and it's great! It covers all the newer R series bikes with every possible piece of information you could ask for. Much cheaper than the $125.00 + BMW version you order from the dealer!!!!!! If anyone is interested I could send you a screen shot of any repair aspect of your R bike.

Was that a one time purchase ( I mean only one dvd was for purchase?) or can I by that also.

He's got more. His eBay username is DEVOYM. Here's a link to his auctions related to R series bikes: HERE

Yes, it covers your RT. Here's a screenshot of the openingpage when the DVD loads. This DVD contains everything!

That screenshot of the opening page on the DVD I posted looks bad on this forum. Actually everything is very clear/sharp on the real thing.

It looks like he is selling a pirated copy of the $125 BMW REP-ROMmanual.

Exactly! Probably not the best thing to promote on this web site. (I paid the $135 darn it.)

When I owned an 1150R, I also bought the official BMW maintenace dvd. It was excellent. When I bought my GS I also bought the dvd mentioned here from the same individual in Canada. Delivery was fast. HOWEVER, this dvd is virtually worthless compared to the official dvd from BMW.
If you want a good dvd for boxer bikes, then get Jim Von Baden's excellent dvd. You can get it here: http://www.adventurersworkshop.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=BMW_R1200_MAINTENANCE_DVD&Category_Code=BMW_R1200GS_MAINTENANCE_VIDEO Actually I bought mine directly from Jim but Adventure workshop is a good outfit also. Disclaimer: I'm not connected in anyway with Jim or Adventure Workshop. I'm just a happy customer that does most of the wrenching on my bikes.

I have had my CD on order for over 4 weeks from my dealer. He said it is on backorder, hope the new patch includes any updates done to the 2007.

hi guys, just a quick note about this. what this guy is doing is basically illegal, as mentioned above by one of our members he is selling bootlegged copies of BMW DVDs. eBay is normally good at removing copyrighted materials, once they get a word about this. S

Thanks Shiva, for keeping us informed about the not so legal things out there, specially some of us who are little slower in catching those things. --------------------------------- The world is a book, and those who do not travel, read only one page - 'Saint Augustin'
