Fellow riders, It has been some time since i've visited and i want to thank all those who wrote concerned with my well being. The main problem was that I didn't have a computer and my cell phone browser just didn't cut it when it came to participating on such a graphic heavy site. I've had another one of those years I soon rather forgert. Long story short I should be officially divorced next Monday. It's taken all Ive got to make it through this experience, or should I say she's taken all I've got during this experience. I've still got my bikes and for that I am thankful. However it was last night I came in the garage to fast on the KR and side swipped the GS and ended up in the ER with 14 staples across and down my left theigh. Yep tore a good peice of flesh. All is good, it's just par for the course. I have a new computer now and hope to rejoin all my friends here again. Thanks again to those who didn't give up on me. Still living , still ridding, still looking foward to the future. Doctora

Andrew! It's good to hear from you again. It has been a while hasn't it? Glad to hear you're still "with us", here on the forum, as well as the riding community. Think you might make Leakey this year? kip

Doctora Andrew. Welcome back. Happy to hear your voice on this side of some cloudy days. I look forward to sharing a campfire like Leakey to talk... In the meantime, heal quickly and think about Twisted Panty III at the end of March. Oh yeah, in case you haven't heard, guess who else is riding a K1200R?

Andrew, And I'm riding Mikes hand-me-down Boxer Cup Replika, which I added to my now three bike stable. Another sport bike when all I want is a GS ? It's getting close to your birth day again [12/27] ,but this year you can celebrate being a free man, no more arguments over trivial things! A new start , A new Adventure of life! You have everything to live for and a beautiful son, make peace with her on his behalf and be there for him. Down the road, when you get to ride with your son as I am now you will be glad you did.Nothin' like riding with your son !! Don't mean to be preachy to you, your a grown man, but you kinda put me in charge of "but-kickin'" a while back. So I'm just doin' what you asked of me to keep you looking on the bright side of life. And if that don't beat all, Riding one bike into the other an gettin' injured. You ought to change that story to a semi and you battled for the same truck stop space. Glad your back, We miss your input. You have a lot of catchin' up to do. So ask away at anything you want or need, little bro !!!... JC

yowch! hope your GS faired better than you did in that mishap. seriously though, not much can be said about divorce except a bunch of cliche's nobody ever wants to hear while in the middle of one.. find a good friend, have a good beer try to keep things in perspective... it'll all be behind you soon enough... at least thats what I kept telling myself!

It will for you as well. You will suck in fresh air, the clouds will part, the warmth of the sun will be experienced once again. As tough as it may be, do not be overly eager to depart the place you are right now. There is probably real learning to be had there. Sorry about the slash Andrew. This too will heal. t.

Oh yeah, been there. And yes, it gets better and probably will be a relief in a year. Hate to hear about the cash loss, mine got jack from me. And the leg, bummer, but that heals faster than the heart. I recommend good Guy Bonding DVDs. Maybe Old School, Diner, Pulp Fiction, and the classics like Stripes and Caddyshack. Helps to laugh. Robo

Welcome back to the sunshine, dude. They say time heals all wounds, but me, I'd like to think a brisk ride on sunny day will make you forget there were ever any wounds to begin with.

Though I'm sure you had to struggle to keep them on your side of the ledger, and buy them from your ex . . . hey, you've still got your bikes! It's all good man! Stand naked in the darkness and let the star light bathe you! Your bikes . . . your guns . . . your boots . . . a pair of jeans and 2 tee shirts . . . anything beyond than that is gravy, man. Sink your teeth into that for a while. May I suggest a listen to "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" on Green Day's "American Idiot" CD. Loud. I'm just saying . . . You know . . . C
