I plan to leave Rhode Island around 7/13 on a 2004 1150RT. Plan to camp and/or motel and looking for a few riding partners. Return home by 7/26. Any interest?

See you there! (Just up the street from me; I may be able to ride the last 250 miles with ya, depending on your route.)

Just booked my Sherpa camping package.  Not a camper but also hate to not drink and ride.  No specific plans, yet but its a long, long ride from Mississippi.

Can't wait.

Tim,

You'll enjoy the Sherpa Deal !

They use house type big blow up air mattresses and give you free coffee after you hang to long the night before in the beer tent !! It's not usually that far a stumble back to your tent ,just remember your tent number as they are tied up side by side !!

Great deal, we used them and the on site UPS store to send our camp gear back home to lighten the long ride home .

JCwink

PS: When it gets closer we'll all trade cell phone numbers so we can find each other at the rally, Sfarson is Sherpa'n it too, I believe. That camp ground can get pretty big, they're expecting 5-6,000 to attend this year !!

Like last year they have a three rally trifecta of sorts, only this time it is the previous week in the Blackhills Rally, in SD> then the MOA, in WY> the next, and finishing the next week in Paonia CO. at the "Top or the Rockies rally!

Attend all three and with a sign up at the Black hills, win your achiement award at Paonia, CO. And have a group pic taken for the MOA magazine !

Tim, I'm on your way.  You cannot know how much I'd enjoy having you stop over here.  Plenty of room for you at my house.  I haven't decided if I'm going to Gillette yet.  I've never been to a rally yet.  I really want to go, but I hate Dick Cheney so bad I'm not sure I can go to Wyoming.

Well, aren't you nice.  I looked at routes a bit yesterday and one would take me your way.  We'll talk in Leakey but thanks for the invite.

Hey Tim.  There's some pretty good BBQ here in KC.  Maybe not as sweet as Memphis style, but pretty darn good.  Lunch is on me if you find yourself coming thru KC....

Kip --

It's called Top o' the Rockies, takes places in Paonia (sp?). Supposed to be a really good rally. I think it is after Gillette.

I'd like to get out there, but have other plans this year (bluegrass festival in Lyons, CO).

Yeah.

Daughter took a new job in LA area and decided to move last week.  Dad got to drive the truck and pull the car.  One of many hickups.

Way to go Dad.  There'll be plenty of rallies but not a lot of trips like that.
