Evening all,

Lisa and I are just prepping some photos for a magazine article in the USA and thought I'd share them here.

These were taken during our ride through the Altiplano(approx' 16,500 feet alt.) in Bolivia but we'd simply not got around to looking at them let alone posting them anywhere.

Right now we're in the States trying to sort out shipping ourselves and the bikes to Japan and then onto Eastern Russia and Mongolia.

Simon.   Fantastic pics!!

Hope you get everything sorted out; I assume you are on the west coast at the moment?  It's a darn shame you aren't in TX somewhere - I'd love to shake your hand at our Leakey gathering in a couple of weeks.

'ello one1bmwnut,

Thanks for the nice words.  At the mo' we're actually in Mexico as our USA Visa expired at the end of Feb and so have to be out of the country for a few months.

Looking forward to getting back though and heading up to Alaska in June.

Cheers

Incredible journey on two wheels - so very glad you are sharing it too!!

The salt flat photo has to be my favorite - stunning!

Looking forward to taking the time to thoroughly enjoy your ride reports and photos.  Thank you so much for sharing them!

Ditto to what Mike said - wish you were over the border in TX!
