Awesome road trip! Great photo tour, too. How many miles are you intending to ride? I couldn't help noticing that your tires look like the Michelen Anakee's I'm riding. How did they work on muddy roads? I hope to make a similar trip in the opposite direction next September--to Alaska. Please keep posting photos, and best of luck. Van

A: What a trip! I have no doubt that you will succeed, and I have no doubt that this trip will change your life. Please continue to post your words and pictures so we can follow you in your quest. You inspire us. I am just a beginner when it comes to motorcycle touring. I bought my R1200GS last summer, and started riding back roads in the Black Hills and Wyoming. Now, I am planning for long weekend trips, and hopefully I will ride to Alaska to visit my son in September. I asked about your tires because my GS came equipped with Michelen Anakees that are great on pavement, but a little tricky on gravel and dirt. It makes me feel more confident knowing that you are using them and getting by in the rugged terrain pictured in your photos. My best thoughts and wishes for your success. van

Alejandro, Felicidades bro! What a trip, huh?!! I dig all your pictures, man. I want to take a trip to Mexico City, but I have a Harley Davidson (Softail) with ape hangers. I get really sore when I ride more than two hundred miles. I really dig your moto bro. Is it the 1200 gs adventure? I want to get me something like your bike homies. Thanks for all the pictures. Roman
