Greetings, SoCal riders.

Mike and I are going on a ride this Saturday, and we'd be happy to have more people join in.
The rendezvous is at the Starschmucks in Moorpark at 09:30. http://tinyurl.com/65ssv2
(That means be ready to go, with a tank full of gas, at 09:30.)

The route will be as follows (click on the map for an interactive version)

I know we have SoCal riders on this forum.
C'mon folks, the weather is going to be great!

Steven, there seems to be something wrong with the map you posted.

Oh, I know.. You had been drinking when you drew that pretty blue line.  Man, was your hand ever shaky!!

That ride looks like great fun!  Sure wish I could join you.  Photos.. don't forget to take photos to share with your ride tale.

See you in a few weeks in Valencia and thank you for talking me into the dirt bike school!  The girls and I are gonna love it!!

OMG!!!  That looks amazingly fun!!

What a cool graph of the elevation change.

Really shows you what you'll be getting into!

Yeah, that's an awesome graph, Mike. Is it some sort of Google Earth feature?

Oh, are you bringing your camera tomorrow? Pat will give us no end of Hell if we don't post some pictures.

I will bring a camera.  Yes that graph is a Google thing.  In Google maps search for a Mapplet called Path Profiler:

http://maps.google.com/ig/add?moduleurl=http://www.heywhatsthat.com/mapplets/profiler.xml&pid=mpl&synd=mpl

Then install it (you may need to be logged in).  Click points along the map to trace your route and click the popup link to display the graph.
