So... 6000 miles later, it looks like the new bike is fitting into the plan; filthy but fitting in.

How I ever rode for so long without heated grips I'll never know.  And yes the rumors are true, you will die behind that fairing in hot weather.  The bike overall is great in crap conditions and ABS has saved me some issues.

Hhaha holy crap, thats you? I pass you ever morning and usually every eve on the way to work! I was wondering whose bike that was.

Nice to see you again, I'll have to stop in next time! Look for the red and white PD

So funny how if you see a BMW, chances are you know the guy who owns it, or know somebody who knows the guy.

I stop in at my mechanic's the other evening and up pulls a silver r65 and the owner of which is the mother to a dude I met about a month earlier who rides an early dakar type GS.  Small world when you ride a beamer.

We as a hudson valley group should get together one of these not-raining weekends.

Speaking of which if anyone in the towson baltime area wants to have some fun, I'm down for the weekend.

But yeah, I work across from all motor cars, stop in any time or flag me down in traffic.  I'm easy to spot with the coastie orange jacket. beat_up  Seems when olympia says red... they lied!
