With less than 3k , the gas gage on my 1200gs now only shows 3/4 full on a full tank and the yellow triangle and fuel low warning comes on when tank is about 1/2 full. The readings have become unreliable. Dealer says faulty fuel strip. Anyone else having this problem?

This issue surfaces amazingly often. I'm thinking it's a warranty fix. C

My 08 1200 GSA w/250 miles on it registers full when full and empty when 1/2 full. At 195 miles the Ignition antenna ring went bonkers and left me stranded. It was relplaced under warranty but was supposed to have been replaced by the dealer prior to delivery to me. The dealer disregarded the service bulletin. Now 55 miles later, I will have to go back again on the gas gauge issue.

Update on fuel problem. Dealer replaced fuel strip and ring antenna @ no cost. Problem appears solved.
