I recieved a call fom BMW Customer Support late Monday reminding me that my 2007 GS needed to have 2 recalls completed. The first was the brake recall....I have read some material on the brake recall although my dealer is not sure about what is required to fix. He will call his BMW rep to get more info
The more puzzling one is an "airbox" recall. The dealer has never of heard of it, and it is not in his computer. The only thing he can come up with is the CPU re-program which has not yet been completed on my bike.
Has anyone found/read anything related to an airbox recall?

No airbox recall for the 2007 GS. The brake recall is to replace the front circuit lines. The BMS-K update is to correct a problem with knock sensor control.

The airbox recall I've heard about was for the new K-bikes. C
