There's not a lot of scenery in the immediate vicinity, but you're within a hundred clicks +/- to some awesome mountain roads in Colorado or some nice winding desert roads in Utah.  I've never ridden south of the corners, so i', not sure what New Mex and Ariz have to offer.

I'm generally going to pick mountain twisties any day of the week, but this late in the season, you may run into cold weather at higher altitudes. The Utah riding was more sweeping roads in and out of rock formations. I would expect that you'd have warmer riding and less snow. You might want to check the weather reports as you go along and adjust your route accordingly.

We spend 5 or 6 months doing the 4 corners and will have to continue next year!!!

Check my Archives for more info and e mail me if you need any specifics, Would be happy to help. Off roading at all? That will open up 10 times more many roads!!!

Since you're planning for next year, there's a lot in the area.  My favorite is the loop from Cortez/Dolores, Telluride, Ridgeway, Ouray, Silverton, Durango and back.  But a trip up to Moab and around all that area is great too.  The loop above takes you over high mountains and can be chilly, cold, even snowy if too early in the season.  But Moab gets hot early in the season.  Then, there is Monument Valley, Canyon DeChelly, Chaco Canyon and enough more to keep you riding for at least days if not weeks.

Good luck and have a great time but check weather to see if the high passes are open and ice-free.
