Hello all, we have just opened up the Forums section of BMW Xplor and I'd like to invite anyone with questions about how to use these Forums to post here. BMW XPLOR Forums offers the same features as many other Forums with the added benefit that they are fully integrated into the rest of the BMW XPLOR web site. Meaning, there is no additional signup beyond the necessary registration to use the site. Also, you are no longer just an avatar but have a presence right here on the site where you can expound on your posts in your blog, connect with other users, show off your ride with pictures and video and much more to come. No other site of this kind has this sort of Forums and personal web page integration. We welcome your discussion and feedback so jump in, log on, pipe in and ride safe. Best, phil

Looks good. Much more intuitive or maybe just more conventional than the other public message board. One technical note is that I recieve an error notification. It doesn't seem to impact the functionality but it says that line 436, char 1 - 'behavior' is undefined. If it matters, I'm using IE 7

hey phil, nice forum.. so far my only questions are how do I insert hyperlinks into my posts as the link/unlink options are greyed out and then also, when I hit enter after a line it automagically formats it as a new paragraph, is there anyplace i can customize my default editing html prefs or anything? it is convenient that it's doing this for me but I may not always like that auto editing. when I enter an image file into the upload image dialogue and hit enter, that seems to just insert the image and post the message all at once? I kind of got to this in response to Shiva in another thread, but is there a better way to upload the image and control its placement/continue editing after I decide to upload it? heh, I had inserted the picture above just testing something, now going back and editing my existing post I am unable to remove the image/see the image.. even if I view as html.... puzzling

Howdy! Looking good so far, and as expected, there are always bugs in the new system... Signatures would be nice, as well as options on formatting text and such when you reply or intially post a message. Just my thoughts...

Covered with snow and cold here. Questions: Is there a way to "preview" a reply with the colors all correct and pictures included? How about signatures? Is there a way to do a signature like in the previous forum? Can more then one picture be placed in the same message?
It appears that the numbers do not change color witht the rest of the text, which is kind of odd. Thanks, Mike

Enjoy, Mike

Nothing much to say other than it seems to be working fine from a Mac.
Nope--strikethrough and picture posting are not working without the HTML editor. Ah well.
