ABOUT ME
What can I say…I had a great group of friends in high school and always had some guy friends who had bikes. Started with a mini motorcycle progressed, to a ride on the back of an RM through the swamps. No helmet, no gear (yeah I know I am lucky to be here, intelligence comes with age) Then I was an adult and purchased my own bike, an NX250 which I thought was a bull in the woods…so what do I do…buy a GS650 factory lowered! I have always loved the dirt! My Husband has a DAKAR and he was the patient one who taught me how to ride when we were dating. Riding is about the only activity that truly shuts my mind down. It is just me and the road or dirt or rock or sand before me. During the week it is appointments and all corporate. Weekends, the ride is on! I ride where the cell towers can’t reach me! Now for the BMW commercial, I feel blessed every day I get on my bike. I sometimes have to pinch myself to realize it is not a dream. I really have it all, a great husband, our health and an unbelievable past time and the good fortune to be able to pursue it on the best equipment out there! The thing was I didn’t really know how to use it. So this fall, I was about to purchase a summer jacket when it dawned on me…for this price I could actually learn how to ride my bike better! The pictures from Spartenburg are from a two day BMW off road training course. It was an unbelievable experience that I would recommend to anyone! I can hardly wait to use my new found skills! Look forward to seeing you on the road/trails
