ABOUT ME
I live in interior Alaska, city of North Pole. I recently sold my ‘05 f650gs and purchased my ‘08 f800st.
This beauty is better fitted to my mostly on road preference of riding, but seems to handle pretty well on the occasional gravel roads with the Pirelli scorpion sync tires – tread pattern looks similar to tourances, but with silica compound built in.
Have time for a couple of road trips (moto-camping) per summer, to parts of Alaska I have not seen yet.

Check out the new generation ultra-lite 4 season teepee travel tents. They seem to be getting rave reviews, but I have no experience with these yet. One standout feature is the material expands at the seams when wet to seal itself.
