I have no problems . And i ride in winter (less people and tourism ).
There is always gasoline and a decent place to stay . People is friendly , and turist are higly welcome .
Carretera Austral same as Ruta 40 , are paved and dirt (pavimentada y ripio ) more dirt than paved.......but fantastic to drive .
I see in so many areas ,that construction are going on ...............probably in a few yers will be most paved!!!!!!! .

Nice to meet you.
All the way down to South America ,you will find paved roads,good for road motorcycles. I cross vw bettles, scooters , touring bicycles , harleys , RV's ,very old motorcycles ...etc...etc.......... but, with a dual sport motorcycle you can go and visit many more places !!!.

Now , i am in Tampa, Florida.
Planning to stay till august . Then back to Buenos Aires for my bike . Probably return to USA via Brazil coast , going north up to amazonas river (Belen to Iquitos)......Ecuador......etc....etc .
