12/26/08 - Thinking about Bonneville, then the 4 Corners

I'm thinking about riding out to Bonneville sometime in 2009.

My question is for those who have been is, what should I expect and look out for and when is the best time to go?  Should I take some cold gear with me and how are the roads going out there?  I will be coming from the East Coast.  From the Salt Flats, towards the 4 Corners, I notice on the maps, that the 4 Corners monument isn't at the meeting point of those states.  Is that what I should be looking ...

Not yet.  Once they have decided on the shots to be used, I think they will post some of them.  The ads will start to come out sometime in March.
