Q and A for bmwxplor

Hello all. As one of the team helping to build bmwxplor.com, I thought I would set up a little Q and A here for anyone with questions about how to use this site. Some things may not be too clear right now so hopefully this will help. Feel free to submit any and all questions here and I will try to get you an answer or fix the problem.

Question 1: How do I upload pictures into my Gallery?

Answer 1: On your rider page, click on the link to “Manage my pictures”. From there you can start a new gallery by creating a name for it.

Hey Brooklyn Phil, I too am in Brooklyn. We should link up and ride one day. My question is: is this the only way to send a message to another rider on XPLOR?

Hey Hibeem. You're in Brooklyn? Very cool. We should go riding for sure. In answer to your question... For now, yes, the blogs and comment areas are the only ways to communicate unless a rider puts their email address on their rider page. We hope to be adding many more communication methods as well as many more features shortly.

Nov 28, 2006 - NY Riders

Hey fellow NY riders ! It's great that you are involved in this new venture for BMW. I've had some problems early on with people writing over my rider page and changing my galleries. The last few days have been good ... so far ! My wife and I ride a pair of F- 650's and live upstate, where all the dirt is ! My handle is B2H on xplor and plan on checking it out often ! I'll keep you informed if I have any more problems.

Hey Phil , I have a GPS d/l from a GS ride we did with MAX's BMW. Is there a way to post it on the ride board ? it was a great ride and thought others may like to check it. THANKS !

Hey B2H. Max's BMW rocks! (where's his XPLOR page?!) Glad to hear you have an interest in sharing GPS routes. We plan to add that feature in the future.

Hey Phil, Keep up the good XPLOR development work. Had no idea you were a Max (read: upstate) fan. Nice to have a good dealer in my backyard/pocket. Cheers.
