ABOUT ME

I don’t just ride a motorcycle, I’m a motorcyclist. I’ve been riding for 38 years and throwing my leg over a bike today is just as exciting to me as it was 38 years ago. Motorcycles are my passion, I love looking at them,talking about them, riding them and even working on them. Heck, I even enjoy washing and polishing them. I raced moto cross for years before college on bikes such as DKW, CZ and Husqvarna, and then raced in the desert of Southern California on a 430 Husqvarna for another five years after college. A mortgage, starting my own construction business, a few broken bones and a girlfriend put an end to my racing career, but nothing could tarnish my passion for two wheels and a motor. I’ve been through the Ducati street bike thing and I’m over that now. I still enjoy a twisty mountian road and a day at Willow Springs every once in a while but now I do those on a GS. I also use my GS to go adventure riding with my buddys to places like Nevada, Utah and Idaho. The GS is my sport bike, my touring bike, my let’s go camping bike and my go to Peet’s for a cup of coffee bike. I’ve been competing in trials events for the last three years now on a Montesa 4rt and really enjoy that, but the current love of my life is my HP2. (I’m divorced) If you have never ridden an HP2, you have to realize that this bike is 105 horsepower of super torquey boxer twin motor in a dirt bike frame. Since I’m a boxer guy and a dirt bike guy, it’s a match made in heaven. I absolutely love the challenge of riding these big bikes well off road.
