ABOUT ME
I am an avid (or perhaps better put rabid) airhead rider, motorcycle mechanic, and musician/ DJ in Knoxville TN – Less than an hour from the infamous Deals Gap (318 curves in 11 miles). I have been on and around bikes as long as I can remember, with some of my favorite childhood memories on the back of my fathers bike. Got my first Beemer, an R75/5 toaster, back in 88’ and been hooked on airheads ever since. My daily ride is a 77’ R100RS that I brought back from nearly dead, and currently has around 200,000 miles on her and still chugging along. I am also working on a 78’ R80 restoration/upgrade project, when done will be dubbed my R80SS (SuperSport). I’ll probably start bloggin the process sometime after the first of the year on the R80 project along with photos so check back.
