So is the glass half empty, or half full?
For millions of people who find themselves within the set of individuals who assumed debt beyond their ability to service and retire that debt . . . well, the future ain't looking too bright right now. Especially since the additional set of individuals who are likely to be unemployed within the next two years likely contains many if not most of the cash-challenged individuals.
It sure sucks to be them.

Our society's capacity to sell and to buy vastly exceeded our society's capacity to pay.
Too much heat.
No lid on the pot.
Now eveyone has to clean up the mess.
Let's hope that we've learned a little cooking lesson.

We've had a piece of the bizarre cold temps covering the South this week. Low 40's at night, mid 60's in the day.
About 10 degrees below normal.
I rode in yesterday in low 40's. It was glorious.
Today the temps are back to normal, mornings in the mid 50's.
Terry is vacationing in Florida this week during these cold temps. No swimming for the kids I bet.

Obama 'freaks' aside, personally I haven't been this energized in 5 years. Obama has nothing to do with it. He and his followers are just pieces of flotsam riding on a societal tide. They think he's the tide. He is not the tide.
It's the underlying societal tide that has me excited. Nobody knows what that tide is going to bring. Nobody knows!
