Where does your manual say every 3,000 miles? Mine says "contact your dealer" and specifically shows maintenance (at varying levels of work/involvement) at 6,000 mile intervals.

Nope.
At least having a front brake comes standard instead of being a $300 option.

The real value to it for me is that it's great in all kinds of weather. Incredible venting when it's hot and when the liners are removed. Waterproof and warm (I still use Widder heated gear) in the cold. I live in the mountains of Colora...
