ABOUT ME
I am an ancient Brit. I bought my first Triumph Tiger 110 in 1958. Always wanted a Vincent Black Shadow but since they stopped making classic English bikes I settled for a BMW K1200RS. I love it. I live north of Atlanta and am completely in love with the North Georgia mountain roads. My K is amazing. Its reliability, brakes, tires, suspension and power make it a joy to ride on short and long distances. One day I covered 540 Highway and back road miles, stopping only to gas and eat something.

11/08/07 - 2002 K1200RS Clutch problems at 20K
- As I was pushing the bike back out of the garage in first gear the bike with the clutch in, it stopped moving backwards and started to move forward. It was so unexpected, I pulled on the brake and immediately shut the engine off.
- I started the engine back, repeated the process, this time the brake lever had become mushy and I couldn't engage first, so I shut her off again.
