ABOUT ME
I am currently serving in the U. S. Marine Corps and I am a new BMW rider. I have a lovely wife who supports and encourages my habits and two wonderful children. I learned to ride on a little 492cc Buell Blast and then quickly switched to BMWs as soon as the budget would allow. I think it will be a long time before I move out of BMW’s entry level bikes and move up to the 1200s. I would love to own an Adventure or 1200GS but I can’t get past that price tag. So, I’ll stick with the Dakar for a while and maybe after I drive it into the ground I’ll look into something bigger. I currently live in Yuma Arizona, a perfect place for rally style riding. After watching Dust to Glory, again, I might just have to consider doing the Baja 1000 some day. In the interim, I’ll stick to some mild adventure rides and commutes to and from San Diego.
