Dry Blog
My sincere apologies to the few souls who trip over my profile. I apologize for not keeping a delicious and entertaining blog site.
With the ever expanding and surging and bulging internet sites crafted up to facilitate sharing one’s thoughts, insights, opinions, adventures, experiences , fears, and dreams . . . I regret to admit that I have been smeared thin like cream cheese on a dieter’s breakfast bagel.
Email repertoire, ADVrider, work, summer fun … perhaps I will ...

Specifics on the 2007 Sheet Iron 300
2007 Sheet Iron 300
Words by Suzanna Boogay (aka Mighty Zeus) Photos by Mighty Zeus, With its sixteenth year in the running, the Oakland Motorcycle Club (OMC) did a bang-up job hosting this years’ Sheet Iron 300. For the unfamiliar, think three hundred miles of carefully selected fire roads and single-track trails comprising a route from Stonyford to Fort Bragg. While this is a non-competitive ride, designed to take two days (a Saturday and Sunday), there may be a few ambitious and tale ...

Sheet Iron 300 Dual Sport May 19-20th
For those Northern California dual sport ridin’ fools, mark your calendars for next year’s Sheet Iron 300, hosted by the Oakland Motorcycle Club in late May. I’d say to plan on it this year but it’s such a popular event, they book up right away.

I participated in last year’s event and still have a smile on my face; granted we had perfect conditions (rained the day before; just enough to keep the dust down, and partial cloud coverage).

Two ADVENTURES . . . out the door!
It was nice to be a part of the sales floor during the Spring Open House Santa Rosa BMW hosted today.
After two years of building relationships with literally hundreds of people and being gone four months, it was rewarding to be welcomed by warm over-sized hugs and ‘whatcha been up tos?’
When I had worked the sales in the past, I felt the need to to be out and about more often and not shackled to the sales desk, so I relinquished my position to wan ...

The Not So Easter, Easter Morning Ride
It’s all I can do to keep my mind from surrendering into subconsciousness, yet I feel compelled to tell this tale while in the sleep deprived state of delirium I find myself in now. So, if I can keep my eyelids from closing up like poppies in the night, and illustrate my tale in an engaging enough light, you too will share my self-portrayal of the Easter Morning Ride; a long standing tradition of north bay motorcyclists to ride their cycles to the top of Mt. Tamalpais to watch the sunrise.

First Ride . . .
My riding experience started when I was eight years old and it was something our father forced me and sis into learning.
The first ride was on a Honda 50 and all in all, it was less than favorable. He had brought the bike home after work and after half-ass instruction let us give it a whirl.
All my munchkin girlfriends had battery powered Barbie jeeps that topped out at approximately 2 miles/hour. It never occurred to me that this two wheeled contraption could go faster and had a touchi ...

A bit about me ...
My name is Suzanna (aka Mighty Zeus).
Since I’m woman-ing the BMW Booth @ Dayonta Bike Week, I figured it wouldn’t hurt for me to register on the new XPLOR site. This will be a very resourceful ‘online community’ for BMW riders to enjoy.
For those of you sitting at the edge of your seats just dying to learn more about me, I’m 28 years of age, live in Santa Rosa (just north of San ...
