ABOUT ME
I’m a lean, mean, riding machine.
Ok, that’s not completely accurate. I’m not mean, I’m nice. I was born and raised in Kansas; I can’t stop myself from being nice. And I’m not a machine either. I’m a well-grounded, personable guy with a penchant for winding, twisty back roads. Unfortunately “Lean, mid-western nice, riding personable guy” doesn’t have a good ring to it.
So lean, mean, riding machine it is!!!
By the way, RickyJ stands for Ricky Joe, which is what my family and friends called me back in Kansas when I was growing up. After graduating from college and moving to Phoenix, I just went by the name Ric and that’s what folks have called me since. But I still get a big kick out of being called Ricky Joe whenever I visit home.

Bumwa, great to see you finally got your Corbin. You guys are killing me with your new seats as my bike still doesn't have a seat offered by anyone yet. My seat is pathetic and it's getting worse the more the seat "breaks in" and gets softer.
I'm curious, did you get a choice of colors on your seat? The Corbin web site shows so many options so I'm wondering if you actually have all those choices or do they really only offer the seat is one color?
Anyway, co...

Hey Scooter, I travel to DC quite often for work from NC. I've ridden my bike many times instead of flying all the time, staying at hotels up in the area and have never had any problems. I actually love riding in the DC area, plenty of good looking girls always walking around. Good luck with your trip.

I'll take that bike as is - it is way cool. Incredible detail that make it look definitely custom and one of a kind. Nicely done.

Maybe he should spend $200 on attention-deficit medication
06/28/07 - Re: BMWRA magazine article "Why certain BMW models don't sel
Interesting given that the 2006 worldwide sales of BMW motorcycles are up by 36% overall. I had understood that the driver of that increase was the new models of K bikes (K1200r/s) and R bikes (1200gs/r/s). It would be interesting to actually see a breakdown of the numbers representing the fairly large year over year increase.
