ABOUT ME
I am a 51 year old meteorologist for the US Air Force. I am married, have three wonderful children, and four grandchildren…so far. My garage is chalk full of bikes. I own three BMWs including an 02 R1150R, an 05 Dakar (see picture), and a just bought 07 Adventure (great bike!). I also own a KTM 400EXC for deep dirt and am 90% finished doing a ground up restoration on a 69 1/2 Triumph T100C Trophy 500. My wife owns an 06 F650GS and a Yamaha TTR230. My oldest son just got a 2007 Dakar. My duaghter bought her husband a Suzuki DR450 Dual Sport for Christmas, and my youngest son owns a vintage 85 Honda Shadow. As you can see, we are a motorcycling family. I’ve been riding for about 40 years, the last 15 on BMW. I started off on a 1963 Riverside Lambretta 125cc motor scooter that I used as a dirt bike! I love to dual sport and take long adventures throughout the Southwest US. Scheduled are Mexico to Canada on dirt (2008), the Baja (2009), and Alaska (2010). Then maybe off through Central America. Eventually I will hit Europe and Asia…when I retire?
