Those of you who have been here a while may recall my rave review of Fun Camp at Rich Oliver's Mystery School.  But it wasn't just me. Pat had similar praise for the Mystery School's Off-road Challenge course.

Hi, NewStar.

Well, I'm affraid it will involve a fairly long flight for you.
Mystery School is in Auberry, California.
(Late March is a lovely time to be in SoCal.)

The nearest major airport is in Fresno, that would put you 30 miles from the Mystery School.
Mac (that's the GF) and I will be driving up from Los Angeles. We can pick you up at the airport.

Hey LionHead, I remember seemingly a long time ago... I read a post somewhere about a plan someone had for designing his own riding jacket. I remember he was going to give it armor kind of like lorica segmentata of the Roman infantry. The designer was also going to give it the colors of an African flag, I believe. Was that you perchance? How did the jacket turn out?
