Ride, Sunday, 6/3/07
The ROT Rally in Austin was winding down and I didn’t go to any of it this year. I decided to jump on my bike on Sunday and take a ride out into the hill country west of Austin. A lot of folks were heading home from the rally, so there were tons of bikes on the road.

Ride to Enchanted Rock
Well, I decided to ride from my house in Austin out to Enchanted Rock State Park. I took 1431 thru Marble Falls to 3404 to 71 into Llano, then took 16 south to 965 to the park. 3404 goes through some beautiful terrain. There were a lot of flowers in bloom all thru the hill country and everything was green.
It was a perfect day to ride, with morning clouds to keep the ride cool. There were a lot of folks out on motorcycles today and a few that I saw at the park, including a few older BMWs.< ...
