Well, I decided to ride from my house in Austin out to Enchanted Rock State Park. I took 1431 thru Marble Falls to 3404 to 71 into Llano, then took 16 south to 965 to the park. 3404 goes through some beautiful terrain. There were a lot of flowers in bloom all thru the hill country and everything was green.

It was a perfect day to ride, with morning clouds to keep the ride cool. There were a lot of folks out on motorcycles today and a few that I saw at the park, including a few older BMWs.

I’ve had the bike about 3 weeks now and have just over 1000 miles on it. In contrast, I bought a Mazda pickup last December and it has 2500 miles on it. I’d be shocked if I put 5000 miles on it in a year.
