ABOUT ME
living on Long Island New York. My two bmw bikes are a 2001 F650GS that i am turning into more of a dakar. I have replaced the stock front rim with a 21 inch black acel rim and replaced the rear with an 18inch also. The exhaust is a remus system but it is not in these pictures yet. I have the TT chain guard for front and rear sprokets. The bike will be getting a nice lift with a dakar sized shock on the rear as well as a rebuilt front end with new forks. more to come when more money comes… my other bike is a 1999 R1200C in mint condition with just over 5000 miles on it. i am looking to sell it soon so if your interested please contact me.

Turning the throttle while starting the bike can cause the bikes brain to get confused and set the adaption values to what your "teaching it" by opening the throttle durring start up, all this leading to more running problems. The best way to start your 650 is to turn on the key, let all the lights on the dash clear, pull in clutch make sure bike is in N and then just press the start button, nothing else. If you do happen to twist the throttle and your bike...
