The email from Dave Cwi (famous as Dancin’ Dave, The Mileage Slave in the BMW Owners News) announced a Raider Ride (http://mileageslaves.com/Raiders.htm ) through the Arkansas Ozarks for the end of August. On Condition Maintenance
All maintenance is not scheduled, no matter what it says in your owners’ manual.
When it became painful to sit at a computer, I decided that it was time to for some fault isolation by my "personal service tech" (read that as family doctor).
A worn bushing was removed and replace with a solid one,
A bit of Bondo was used to fill and solidify the gap,
A titanium doubler was attached to the worn / weakened structural parts,
The areas where "lines" were chaffing were drimmeled out. ...
