On Condition MaintenanceAll maintenance is not scheduled, no matter what it says in your owners’ manual.
When it became painful to sit at a computer, I decided that it was time to for some fault isolation by my "personal service tech" (read that as family doctor).
A worn bushing was removed and replace with a solid one,
A bit of Bondo was used to fill and solidify the gap,
A titanium doubler was attached to the worn / weakened structural parts,
The areas where "lines" were chaffing were drimmeled out.
Steriods and pain killers (the MD's versions of STP for worn out linkages and bearings) did not work, so this week the soft part of my BMW (the body I use to ride it) went in for a major unscheduled service.
A worn disk was removed from my neck, two vertrebra were fused, and some bone spurs were removed on Wednesday morning. Now said in a way that I can understand it:
Serious? Yes: I had finally received my new Cee Bailey's Euro Cut widshiled two days before. Now I have to wait until some time in February to ride!
Ah, but all is well, the sun will shine and the RT will soon be changing 93 Octaine into motion. Life is best when there is something to look forward to!
Riding well is the best revenge!
