ABOUT ME
Retired…Interests include Sport Touring two up (K1200RS) and Super Sport Touring one up (K1200R) as well as day riding and occasional sport touring on one of my 1981 R100CS’s. Charter Member of BMW Dutch Country Riders and still very active. Have Grand Toured Norway (www.nordicbike.no) a total of 7500km in 5 weeks, including the Nordkapp, and would return there every year if I could. Nothing beats 24 hour daylight to maximize the riding experience.

Never rode route 500, although I feel you will need an extra few gallons of gasoline with you, unless you have a 41 Liter Touratec Tank or an airhead with a heinrich tank.
