04/25/08 - R1200GS Adventure Tires

Hello,

I recently bought an R1200GS Adventure and it came with Meztler Karoo tires on it.  I have just under 2K miles and the back is almost gone.  Granted it is hard to stay off the throttle.  Is there any other tires that can take the dirt but not wear out so fast on the asphalt?  Thanks.

I own two and they are worth their weight in gold.  The trick is to soak it a few hours before your ride and then throw it in the freezer for a while.  Ice water works great too!

BTW there are maps of the ...

Due to the amount of bums living there they always keep any gate that a person can walk though open in case of a flood.  It is $2000 fine if you are caught.  News 3 in Las Vegas did a bit on it just yesterday.  You have to check this out!
