ABOUT ME
I started riding as a kid with a 3hp minibike and progressed to a bunch of various dirt bikes and eventually street sport bikes in the early eighties. I got out of riding for a long time and started again in 2005 with the purchase of a GS650 Dakar.
The Dakar has been altered with custom carbon fiber bodywork, weight reduction and a professionally redone suspension. I really like the dependable and vibration free Rotax engine and ABS brakes.
I enjoy backroads touring here in PA: I frequently lead group rides in Bucks County, and love doing long solo rides whenever possible.

Nice report! Need more pics, but it does not sound like there was any time to stop and take them! Wish I had the skills and stamina to try a ride like that...guess thats why they picked you for Tunisia and not me!
