I got the freedom air pad last month, it works pretty well.
You have to screw with the amount of air to suit your needs, too much & it feels unstable, they say to fill them (Freedom air has two air pockets) just so your butt is in contact with the seat, then the pad will fill in the gaps.

Thanks for the reply, I'm pretty sure that the lid was lined up, it's very hard to close them if they are out of line. I've rotated the seal to see if that helps....

Hi, newbie here, just picked up a 08- R1200gs adv.
Wondered if anyone has has water issues with the BMW Aluminum hard bags, the bike was sitting in the rain for a few hours & the side bags had a significant amount of water in them....??
I was told they were waterproof.....
