ABOUT ME
I started riding on the road when I was 15 here in Michigan. I didn’t waste around much. I started off with a 750 Triumph Bonneville. It was a great bike even with all the faults of a Brit bike. Wiped out the life savings to get it. And lucky for me that was all that got wiped out. I learned early to respect the power and fragility of motorcycles. Since then I’ve owned all manner of bikes. The most bizarre was a Suzuki RE-5 rotary engined bike. Too cool, no one ever knew quite what to think of that one. Favorites seem to come back to the Europeans. I’ve liked every Beemer I’ve owned. The /5’s were probably my happiest memories on two wheels. Although the very best one I’ve ever had is my present mount – an ‘02 R1150 RT. I am currently (2007) 46 years old. I am a toolmaker for an injection molding company and specialize in tool and mold repair. This really helps out when I need an impossible to find repair part for some old rescue project. I can just make one. I’m married with two kids, 18 and 19 years old. They are both in 1st year of college. By the way, Epona was the celtic goddess of the horse (and who was adopted by the roman cavalry).

Great looking bike, your red F. I'm not at all surprised you get the attention.
When I got my '02 RT I got (and still do) lots of compliments. I actually had a guy in a new Cadillac roll down his window at a light and tell me how sharp the bike looked.
And the there's my evil twin, the yellow R1200S. I have never in my life had a- well, anything that anyone would want to take photos of (except to laugh or extort) till I got that bike. Poeple have on numerous occasi...

Yeah. Great meetin' you too Robo. It was a great time for me to be there and to meet everyone who came. And although he wasn't there it was cool to get the phone assist from Mike. The folks on this forum are true and honest even when it comes time to agree to disagree.
Although, I am left wondering. If the Nut refers to all his friends as "Mate", then are his best friends Prime Mates??
