ABOUT ME

This is my first BMW. An 04’ R1150GSA. I’ve always suspected it and I was right it is in fact the perfect ride for all my touring and camping needs. So far this year (06’) i’ve clocked over 32,000 miles. I prefer camping to motels as they are just another type of cage. Nothing like touring and camping from the bike. Go ride! We’ll see you out there on the road.

Not sure about your 1200 but I have the Laminar LIP on my 04' 1150 GSA. Laminar is a short 50 or so mile ride from home. I was wearing my open faced helmet on my way there to purchace a LIP. Wind flow was a direct hit in my face. To the point where it would puff out my cheeks if I opened my mouth at speed. The LIP was installed at Laminar while I was there. On my ride home the wind was now hitting the top of my helmet, no longer hitting me in the face. Since then I have added a set of ...

Yes, thats my 04' Adventurer in the backround. And yes I am camping with a group called the Airheads of San Diego. I was attending the 12th annual last chance Rendezvous, my 5th year. Always a great time with a great bunch of people. In the picture Im having a glass of Two Buck Chuck and watching the shadows move across the desert floor as the sun goes down behind me, it is an awsome sight.

As for cooking, I found out late last year that I have type 2 diabetes so t...

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE

Here's me on New Years Eve making dinner while watching the sun go down at Augu Caliente in the desert near San Diego.

What a great way to bring in the new year.

I've been a big fan and user of XM Radio on the bike for 4-5 years now. Don't think I could get by without it. I run it through a small battery powered headphone amp up to speakers in my helmet. If you can see the sky overhear I have reception. When camping I always bring along a small Sony battery powered speaker for use around camp. And when I want to hear just the bike or have some quite time I just simply shut it off.
