ABOUT ME
I have never driven or ridden on a motorcycle before in my entire life. I have been run over by a motorcycle and that is about the extent of my experience with them. However, I became intrigued by these machines and before I knew it I was lusting to own one. In July 2006 I ran across a gently used model here in Houston with 7,500 miles on it and decided to pull the trigger. I am now the owner of a 2005 R1200 GS.
I have been on a number of trips throughout Texas but nothing really extensive. At the end of March I am doing a two week long cruise through Mexico, which I am eagerly anticipating. Feel free to share any tips with me.

09/15/07 - Riding Partner - Central & South America
I am looking for a riding partner to travel with me through Central & South America. I plan on leaving December 2008 and riding for two months. Departing from Houston, going through Central America, flying bikes from Panama City to either Bogota or Guayaquil, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Tierra del Fuego, Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
