2500 mile Whirlwind Trip from the Bay Area to the Colorado Mountains and back. 3 days each way on my R1200R. Hot High Desert, rock towers close enough to touch, the smell of sage, mirage in my helmet. Route 120 from 6 (NV) thru Yosemite such a prize, though the national park we love is full of smoke from the northern cali fires, like a sci-fi movie. Thinking an R1200 RT might be a better ride for those trips over 200 miles!
