ABOUT ME
I’ve been riding for 14-15 years. I started, as probably many do, on a crotch-rocket, scared myself, and quickly grew up. I then had a 1987 Honda Magna. After a few years with no moto, I got a 2005 BMW 650GS. I thought I would actually do some dual-sporting, but never could get myself to allow such an expensive machine on the dirt. I sold it and then got a 2006 BMW 1200 RT. I’ve put 5000 miles on it so far and for me is probably just about the perfect moto. I enjoy that you can load it nearly like a Goldwing, or strip it down almost into a sportbike. My wife also now enjoys riding due to the comfort on the RT.
