ABOUT ME
Switched at birth with Mike Hailwood by a pair of Gypsies in a Ural side rig, young Bob was forced to grow up riding a series of Japanese road bikes rather than the Grand Prix machines he so richly deserved. Dazed by the bright lights during three lost days in the Mississippi swamps, Bob was left behind when the UFO chose Elvis instead. Traumatized by extra-terrestial rejection Robert stumbled head long into the pathway of higher education, escaping many years later with a bunch of funny letters after his name. Being around so many brainy people however left Bob confused but with a penchant for smokey Spanish dirt bikes and German road machines, the most recent manifestation of which is an ‘06 GS, which would have many more miles on it if only all those unreasonable people would stop expecting him to show up for work. Man are they gonna be sorry when Elvis gets back with the UFO, no free rides for anyone!

11/19/08 - Re: The Coming New Economy
Yeah I tried to pull that back this AM. I awoke to a strong sense of paranoia. Newsweek has a serious piece about people being so estatic over Obama that they are concieving "Obama babies," our government seems hell bent on giving away what little future out country has, and semiauto rifle sales are going thru the roof. Think it is about time to hunker down and look for that old Airstream.
11/16/08 - Second Skin
Charlie has recently mentioned to me a new facility not far away that has regular track days. I started reading their rules and policies and found the common requirement of wearing leathers. But there was an additional statement that they would allow one piece ballistic cloth suits like Aerostitch.
Now I have balked at letting go of $800 to $1000 for a set of skins to only find I did not like track days. So this provision got me to thinking about Aerostitch....
