11/02/08 - LT's Squealing Brakes
I bought the '05 LT @ 10K miles with a prepurchase safety check and then noticed occasionally that the rear brake emits a loud very embarrassing long drawn out squeal when approaching a stop.
It generally starts at about 10 mph or less and continues to squeal until you completely stopped. The squealing will most likely occur during a very mild stopping procedure, like while idling around a village square or some similar low speed non agressive riding act...

Can anyone out there PLEASE tell me WHAT if ANY options there are for my 2002 R1150RT? For example is it even possible to put a lowered seat on my frame? Then if so what years would fit? My present Sargent is extremely comfortable, it's just too tall for me. Then does the "lowered seat" refer to just the portion the driver sits on, or is the passenger's portion automatically part of the deal?
