ABOUT ME

I am very lucky. When I got engaged to my now-wife, we were on a motorcycle trip (R 100 GS PD) in Scotland. Our wedding was on a closed-off street in Soho and we rode away on an R 100 CS. Our honeymoon in Greece was on an F 650 Fundaro. Almost every vacation since (France, Austria, England, Norway, Crete, Canada, South Africa and Mozambique) has been on a motorcycle. Last December I bought a new K 1200 R (great deal, couldn’t resist) – yellow with black engine. I wanted it to be a streetfighter with the graphite body work. My wife didn’t like that idea – too dark, too brooding, too “mean”. So she said, what can you do to lighten it up? Carbon fibre I said, but it’s expensive. Oh great, I love that look, she said. If you promise to put carbon fibre everywhere on that bike you can, then you can buy that bike, she said. Sorry boys, she’s not for sale. And yes, she calls me “Sir.”

03/15/07 - Re: BMW Can we have some track days???

Patience.  They are coming.  First we have a GS ride in the works in late April, then track days.  Watch the BMW web site and this location for more skinny in the next week or two.
