ABOUT ME

An avid BMW rider, I have been fortunate to own and ride 20 different BMW Motorcycles.

My current primary bike is a 06 R1200 GS Adventure. I also have a 06 RTP which is being prepared by my dealer (Maxbmwmotorcycles of New Hampshire and Troy, NY) for the 2007 Iron Butt Rally, an 11 day endurance rally in North America. I rode the 2003 IBR on a 97 K11LT and in 2005 I rode to a gold medal finish on my 06 R1150 GS Adventure.

I also ride a 06 HP2 and will be looking hard for a strong sweep (as in last place) finish in the upcoming Sandblast Rally.

I really enjoy the social scene surrounding BMW motorcycles and have made some wonderful “best” friends through my involvement with the marque. I am active in the club scene having served as president of the Yankee Beemers (largest regional club in North America). I am also involved in the national club, the BMW Motorcycle Owners of America where I served as director and am almost through a term as secretary. My most fun was serving as co-chair of our international rally last summer (06) when it was held in Vermont which is one of my prime stomping grounds.

If you are in the Northeast and looking for fun come ride with us!

08/15/07 - Come in ground control!

With any competition there are rules and there will always be folks who look to exploit the rules for an advantage. This is what I learned from my time managing high end racing sailboats for the uber rich. I also learned that the rule book is a good way fo ... Read more
