The sign near the door reads, "Order what you want. Eat what you get." Charlene's Diner in Jewitt City is a drab narrow building on Main Street, the sort of place that doesn't entice much walk-in traffic. I would have never known it existed were it not ... Read more

Chaco Canyon in New Mexico is considered to be most probably the spiritual or religious center of a distributed "nation" of native peoples including Chacoans, the Anastasi and others.  The Chacoan efforts in astronomy and their adherence toprecise mapping of their buildings to lie on strict north south and east weat lines even when obscured by buttes and other geographic obstacles, as well as their "sudden" appearance and disappearance about between 850 and...

09/09/08 - Re: Lodging in Napa and Sonoma Valleys

I've noticed that no one has replied, probably because like me they have no specific advice.

sounds great, my wife and I have done Tuscany by car in their wine district and found having a centralized B&B made us feel local gave us some local folks to talk to that knew the area and had good recommendations etc.

I'd check into B&B web sites , I looked at a website before that offered all sorts of B&Bs it was  B&B association that had rev...
