ABOUT ME
I am a career firefighter by trade, am in the process of completing my BA degree, and love my RT!!!
I am relatively new to riding, but I believe I have found an activity and the people that go along with it, to be very fun and interesting to say the least. My wife and I enjoy getting away when we can and it has become a source of great enjoyment for both of us. Hopefully, she’ll be getting her BMW this coming Spring, and then we’ll have all sorts of new adventures to share.
I’m constantly being harrassed at work about not having a Harley, but why not be different??!!!

05/31/07 - Safely returned from a 3800 mile trip....
Greetings All!!!
Well, I am safely home after travelling 3800 miles in 8 days. Needless to say it was a blast and look forward to doing it again. Fortunately no major problems and everone I met was friendly and we always had a nice plcae to stay. I took the time everyday to make notes in my journal and over the next few days I will be placing the trip details in my blog. Bill,
Still tallying the results on the tires. As far as reasons for tire selection, I think it mostly boils down to personal preference and past experience.
Most would agree that once you find a tire you like, based on the type of riding that you do, you will probably return to that make/brand when replacing. But as others have said, you'll have plenty of opportunities during the life of your bike to find the best ones for you.

Howdy!
Looking good so far, and as expected, there are always bugs in the new system...
Signatures would be nice, as well as options on formatting text and such when you reply or intially post a message.
Just my thoughts...
