ABOUT ME
Patent Attorney, riding since I was 13 and learned on Dad’s ‘68 R50/2, which I used until I finished college, and then Dad sent me it cross country in a crate in 1981. In 1990, it bit the dust, sold it off for parts, and strating buying Japanese bikes. Some were good, some were OK, none were as nice this new ‘07 BMW F 800 S I am riding now.

I just wished Christmas was not foisted upon me by people who assume all celebtrate it. I am not Christian, so I do not celebtrate it. Please leave me out of your celebrations. I'd be happy to help stopping it, to end the foisting.

My F800S on page 14 was officially lemoned out by BMW. I have since replace it with this.

I have a friend that has R1200S I am buying. It has a Remus full system on it. 20 lbs+ saving, great sound, and it includes noise control inserts that come out for track days. Based on a day of test riding, I'd say go with this one.
I know Laser, Ackropovic and a few others that are available, but I can't vouch for them.

I am planning on going to Gillette from Phx/Scottsdale area. Love to meet and head up together, I am planning one 650 miles 1st day, 475 mile s next day to there, mostly off slab. Three days at rally, and then slabbing it home as quick as I can get away with.

Have my bike since I bought in March 2007. I see the kit delay issue has not changed any in a year.
I called 2.5 months after I was told it was coming, and then 1 week later it showed up. The provider must be prodded. I think BMW NA needs a new fulfillment center.
