I ride year round here in the fine square state of Colorado and hands down the best gloves i've ever owned were intended for snowmobiling.
I've got an older pair of Youngstown Gauntlet's and a pair o Coldwave I picked up a couple years back that keep my fingers toasty and with temps in the teens, that's saying something.
generally, they're cheaper than the ones made specifically for motorcyclists and do a fine job.
