thanks for the input. I wentr ahead and purchased the Zumo and it arrived yesterday. I too have disviered they are not interchangeable. Oh well..I guess Ireally didn't expect them to be. I am looking forwad to the Zumo however. Thanks for your input!

I recently purchased one myself. I considered for a good while and was skeptical. I have used it a few times this summer and it works pretty well. Mine too will stay wet for around 2 hours or so.

Yeah, I have the bikes hard wired for the V already and hopefully I can use that wire for the Zumo. They offer an extra cable (one comes in the kit) but it is about 30 bucks. I can't tell from the photo of the cable itself for sure but it appears to have the same plug end as the cable for the V. That would be nice. Hopefully someone has looked at them in person and will know if they are the same.....
